Jake joined Passive Capital Management, LLC in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, he was a financial advisor with Greenspring Wealth Management, PNC Wealth Management, and Deutsche Bank Alex Brown. His background and experience will allow him to service individual and institutional clients. After growing up outside of Philadelphia, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Gettysburg College in 2010 and his Masters of Management from Wake Forest University in 2011. Jake earned his CFP® certification in 2020.
Jake is on the Board of Trustees for Gettysburg College. He currently resides in Towson, MD with his wife.
Jonathan is a founding member of Passive Capital Management, LLC. Prior to founding PCM in 2006, he provided institutional equity research to institutions in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Chicago while serving as Managing Director at Alex. Brown & Sons, Banker’s Trust Alex. Brown, Deutsche Bank, and Wachovia.
Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from Oregon State University in 1979 and he resides in Baltimore.
Jeff joined Passive Capital Management, LLC in 2018. Prior to joining the team, he worked four years as a Financial Advisor with Garrison Advisors, LLC. His background and experience will allow him to service individual and institutional clients. Jeff earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification in 2018 and he will be able to assist clients in forming a strong financial foundation by clearly defining their goals and setting forth the strategies needed to achieve them.
Jeff was raised in the Baltimore area and attended Georgetown University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. During his time at Georgetown he was a member of the Men’s lacrosse program.
Jeff currently resides in Towson, MD with his wife and son.
Scott is a founding partner of Passive Capital Management, LLC. He began his finance career as an investment banking analyst working on corporate financings at Alex. Brown & Sons in Baltimore, MD. He then worked in the Equity Capital Markets divisions of Deutsche Bank and Wachovia Securities in Baltimore and Boston. Prior to founding PCM in 2006, he worked at RJR Associates in Syracuse, NY and provided investment advisory services to institutions and individuals. Scott earned his CFA® designation in 2001 and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University.
While at Princeton, Scott was a member of the 1992 and 1994 NCAA Division I National Championship lacrosse teams. Scott is on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Central New York and he is on the Board of Directors for the ESF College Foundation. He currently resides in Central New York.
Dan joined Passive Capital Management, LLC in 2021. He began his finance career as an institutional trader for Legg Mason and Stifel Nicolas. He went on to work in the wealth management department for Wells Fargo, PNC Bank, and T. Rowe Price, as a private banker, relationship manager, and investment advisor. Dan’s well-rounded financial background and experience will allow him to service both individual and institutional clients. Dan received the CRPC ® (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) designation in 2017 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) in 1999. While at Western Maryland he was the captain of the Men’s Soccer Team.
Dan currently resides in Westminster, MD with his wife and three kids.
David joined Passive Capital Management, LLC in 2015. Immediately prior, he spent six years at Wilmington Trust managing the technology investments of a mid-cap growth fund. Prior to this, David spent fourteen years as a sell side analyst with Wachovia Securities (1999-2006), Legg Mason (1998-1999), and BT Alex. Brown and its predecessor Alex. Brown & Sons (1992-1998). David earned his CFA® designation in 1992 and his CFP® certification in 2018. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and his Masters in Management from the Kellogg School, Northwestern University in 1992.
David resides in Baltimore.
